A clear pathway for your next learning step
Online Islamic Studies Course
Our online Islamic Studies course connects foundational beliefs, worship, Quranic sciences, Hadith, Seerah and everyday manners. It offers an organised study pathway for learners who want to understand how these subjects relate rather than collect isolated facts.

Who this course is for
This pathway can begin with foundational topics or develop an area you have already studied. Describe your previous learning and main questions so the syllabus, teaching language and approach can be discussed at a suitable level.
What you will practise
- Build an organised understanding of the main areas of Islamic study.
- Recognise why source context matters when discussing religious knowledge.
- Connect lesson themes with questions about worship, conduct and further study.
Learning with a clear purpose
Different topics call for different kinds of study. Understanding a historical event, reading an introduction to Hadith and learning the foundations of worship are related, but each needs an appropriate explanation and source context.
Course curriculum
What the course covers
01
Quranic sciences and Tafsir
Study an introduction to Uloom al-Quran, selected Quranic themes and the role of Tafsir in explaining passages.
02
Hadith study
Explore an introduction to Hadith sciences, narrators and transmission chains. Selected texts and themes provide a starting point for discussing meaning and application.
03
Fiqh and worship
Study foundational topics in worship, including prayer, fasting, zakat and Hajj. Further topics may introduce transactions and family matters within an educational syllabus.
04
Aqidah and belief
Discuss foundational beliefs, Tawhid and belief in the afterlife. Confirm the syllabus and explanatory approach before progressing to more specialised theological topics.
05
Seerah and historical context
Study the Prophet Muhammad’s life, revelation, Hijrah and the Medinan period with attention to chronology and historical context.
06
Adab and everyday conduct
Explore manners concerning parents, other people and the wider community. Use discussion to connect lesson themes with respectful everyday behaviour.
Practice between lessons
Keep a short topic notebook with key terms, questions and the references discussed in lessons. Distinguish what a source says from your own interpretation. For personal rulings or specialised questions, seek the appropriate qualified guidance rather than treating an introductory lesson as a complete answer.
