A clear pathway for your next learning step

Online Quranic Qira’at Course

Our online Qiraat course is a specialised pathway for learners exploring transmitted Quranic readings. It combines recitation foundations, the background to Qira’at and guided practice in the reading agreed with the teacher.

Who this course is for

Learners should discuss their current Quran reading and Tajweed skills before enrolment. If basic articulation or connected reading still needs attention, strengthening those foundations can provide a more suitable first step.

What you will practise

  • Understand the terminology and scope of the reading being studied.
  • Recognise selected differences within guided comparative study.
  • Apply the agreed reading through accurate, reviewed recitation.

Learning with a clear purpose

Qira’at study needs a clear learning scope. Before starting, establish which Qira’ah or riwayah is being taught and what preparation is expected. This helps keep comparison, terminology and practical recitation connected to the same pathway.

Course curriculum

What the course covers

01

Background and recitation foundations

Study an introduction to Qira’at and review the Tajweed and pronunciation needed for the selected pathway. Agree on the teacher’s terminology, reference materials and recitation focus.

02

Selected transmitted readings

Explore differences through chosen passages, with clear identification of the reading or transmission involved. The syllabus names Hafs, Warsh and Qalun as areas for discussion; confirm the specific offering and terminology before enrolment.

03

Application, revision and assessment

Practise the agreed reading, revise selected passages and use feedback to address recurring errors. Discuss the assessment format separately from any completion certificate or Ijazah requirements.

Practice between lessons

Keep notes tied to the reading you are studying and revisit the same examples during revision. Comparing too many differences at once can make the goal unclear; a focused set of passages makes it easier to discuss pronunciation and application with the teacher.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a beginner Quran-reading course?

It is a specialised recitation pathway. Your existing reading and Tajweed skills should be reviewed to decide whether preparatory study is needed.

Which reading will I study?

Confirm the specific Qira’ah or riwayah, teacher and materials before enrolling. The available pathway should be clearly agreed rather than assumed from a general course title.

Does the course automatically award an Ijazah?

No. Any Ijazah depends on the authorising teacher’s requirements and assessment. A course completion certificate and an Ijazah should be discussed as separate outcomes.
